All IRG rescue and self rescue systems utilize auto locking descending devices with a panic feature, 100% 7/16” Kevlar tubular webbing for escape line and auto locking ANSI carabiners.
The rated breading strength of all systems is 15.5 kN (3478 pounds) and are rated for individuals up to 450 pounds.
IRG systems are certified to the NFPA 1983 2006 Edition.
IRG systems conform to the ANSI Z359.4 standard 2007 Edition, and can be used in all aspects of rescue.
IRG systems must be used with current ANSI Z359 approved fall protection harnesses. Harnesses must have a dorsal attachment and a front mid body attachment point.
One system with slight options and configurations will perform all four aspects of rescue.
