Self Rescue After A Fall

This unique system allows a worker who falls and is hanging from his lanyard to perform self rescue within seconds. This system requires an IRG shock absorbing lanyard with secondary attachment point.

The worker deploys the system, connects the anchor carabiner to the secondary attachment O-ring. A step up lanyard deploys allowing the worker to step up relieving any orthostatic intolerance that may be occurring. Once the worker steps up the descending device is attached to the front attachment point of the harness. At this point the worker is in a much safer and comfortable position. The worker then releases the lanyard from the extension choker at the harness and is able to lower himself to safety.
