Assisted Rescue From Above
Workers from the anchor attachment area can release and lower an injured or unconscious worker to safety
This operation is carried out by utilizing an IRG shock absorbing lanyard with an integrated load release system. The standard rescue system is used in conjunction with the IRG load release lanyard.
If a worker has fallen and is unable to perform a self rescue, a worker can attach the descending device to a suitable anchor and the anchor carabiner to the large O ring on the lanyard. Simply unlock the load release system and transfer the load from the lanyard to the rescue system. Release the lanyard and lower the worker to safety.
